Office Ergonomics training (sometimes called VDU or DSE Training), is designed specifically to help learners understand the importance of correct ergonomics in the prevention of injury and to enable them to apply ergonomic principles in the set-up and maintenance of their workstation.
This online Visual Display Unit (VDU)/Display Screen Equipment (DSE) course aims to reduce the health risks associated with working with a computer workstation. It does this by giving individuals the information they need to manage their environment and their work.
The course explains how to set-up your chair, desk, desk equipment and screen. It addresses how to achieve comfortable postures while you work and the importance of avoiding sitting or standing for too long.
The final lesson provides some simple stretching exercises to reduce tension and stress.
