This online Manual Handling Training Course provides the necessary information and training for organisations to understand more about the risks associated with manual handling, how to undergo a risk assessment and how to ensure appropriate control measures are put in place.
Manual Handling is a physical activity that takes place in every workplace environment. The tasks are not just limited to lifting heavy loads or objects, such as carrying a bag of cement or moving a large table, it refers to any activity requiring a person to use any part of their body in their interactions with their environment such as pushing/pulling a trolley or supporting a load. In some cases, the activity may not pose a problem, however, it can be a potential workplace hazard when an employee is required to handle a load, which could result in a back injury.
Our Manual Handling Training Course is designed to comply with the provisions of the General Application Regulations 2007 and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005.
